Evergreen sits at approximately 7,074 ft above sea level. This altitude affects everyone differently. The best way to avoid altitude sickness is to hydrate. Be sure to start hydrating a few days before you arrive and continue drinking water (more than you usual) while here. Nothing will ruin a trip to beautiful CO more than altitude sickness.
